Lois Phillips Hudson (born August 24, 1927 Jamestown, North Dakota, died December 24, 2010 Redmond, Washington) was an American novelist.

She graduated from Cornell University with a master's degree. She taught at North Dakota State University, and at the University of Washington, starting in 1969,[1] and where she was an associate professor emerita.
Her work appeared in Harper's,[2] and The New Yorker.[3]
She was the mother of two daughters, Laura and Lucy. She lived in Redmond, Washington.[4]
Lois Hudson died on December 24, 2010 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.[5]
